StatsWell FAQ

Coverage, freshness, estimates, and how to read the charts.

How often is StatsWell updated?

StatsWell pages are updated daily. The exact update time can differ by platform, and each page shows its own latest timestamp. Typical update happens early morning UTC.

What does StatsWell track right now?

StatsWell currently tracks Steam wishlist rankings, Steam top sellers, PlayStation regional best sellers, and Xbox US top sellers. Coverage is expanding over time, but those are the main live datasets today.

Are owner and wishlist estimates exact values?

No. Estimate fields are model-driven directional indicators, not official platform-reported totals. They are meant for trend analysis and relative comparison, not as precise audited numbers.

How accurate is the data?

Accuracy depends on the platform, tracking history, and data completeness for each game. In general, the data is most useful for comparing relative scale and momentum rather than treating every estimate as exact.

Why might a game show limited data?

Some games are newly tracked, have sparse historical coverage, or only expose a subset of fields on a given store. In those cases StatsWell shows the data it has and leaves missing values as N/A.

How should I interpret rank movement?

Rank movement is most useful as momentum context over time, not as a standalone KPI. Combine rank change with follower movement, release status, and chart history.

Does StatsWell cover all regions equally?

No. Steam charts are currently global, PlayStation is tracked by store region, and Xbox currently focuses on the US store top sellers. Coverage differs by platform because the underlying store data differs.

Where can I start if I’m new to the site?

Start with the homepage cards for a quick market view, then open Steam Wishlist, Steam Top Sellers, PlayStation regional charts, or Xbox Top Sellers. Game detail pages add deeper history where that platform currently supports it.
